Infill Slab for Shop, Victoria

This retail shop had a timber floor that has now been replaced with a Helix reinforced concrete slab. 40m x 10m x 150mm, and SL82 mesh being replaced with 6kg/m³.

The concreter, one of Melbourne’s major contractors did this small job as a test to see if Helix would be all that we claim it is in regards to workability and also to test it for a highly burnished finish. The 400m² slab was a huge success. The concrete contractor now has the confidence to replace regular reinforcement with Helix in future jobs.
