Residential Apartments, Sydney

The project is a 6 storey residential building in Kensington, Sydney. After excellent success with previous projects the installer of the AFS Walling Panels, HD Projects, approached the project engineers, Australian Consulting Engineers, to propose a Helix design.

After reviewing the Helix technical information, approval was given to reduce the vertical and horizontal reinforcement by up to 40% with a Helix Micro Rebar dosage of 20kg/m³. This included reducing the horizontal steel to one layer instead of the originally specified two layers.

As with all Helix projects, both the installer and builder experienced time and cost savings, dematerialisation on the site, improved site safety, and reduced site deliveries.
