Precast Septic Tanks to Australian Standard

The Australian Standard for Precast Septic Tanks (AS1546.1:2008) allows for steel fibers to be used at a dosage of 75kg/m3 or at a dosage which meets performance criteria. The client was using another steel Fiber.

Helix could meet the Australian Standard performance criteria at just 11kg/m3. This gave the client a cost saving of over 36% on every cubic metre of concrete they pour.  (Remember a cost saving is a Profit!) The Helix septic tank was accredited by SAI Global.
