Anchor Blocks for Moomba Gas Field

Helix was used to replace rebar in precast footings poured in Adelaide to be transported by road to the Coober Basin region for the construction of a new oil pipe line.

Typical beam configurations were 4600x600x300 with 4x N20 bars T/B with W8 ligs at 300 cntrs and 3500x400x300 with 6x N20 bars 3 T/B with W8 ligs at 300 cntrs.

The steel rebar in these beams was replaced with 30kg/m³ of Helix. The precast facility was extremely impressed with our Helix product. They were able to precast these structural beams without the need for any steel fixing whatsoever.
