Helix was applied at the rate of 7kg/m3 for this project. There was no traditional reinforcement of any kind required. A broom finish was applied to the surface and no Helix were visible following the brooming of the surface. These footpaths are at a waterfront location and at the time of writing there is no deterioration of any kind in the surface or the body of the concrete.

Obviously the elimination of the cutting and laying of traditional mesh resulted in more rapid completion of this project.
