In-Situ, 10m Diameter Concrete Tank

Concrete Tanks Australia approached our SA Helix agents for a Helix design of this 10m diameter underground concrete tank.

Helix engineers converted the original bar and mesh design over to a hybrid design.

All wall RL718 mesh and N12 bars at 300cts vertically and horizontally was replaced with Helix Micro-Rebar. As a connection detail between the wall and the floor, and wall to roof, N12 starter bars remained in these areas.

More of these tanks have subsequently been constructed using Helix Micro-Rebar with further reductions in the amount of rebar and mesh.
